Registration for CHARLA classes for the 2022-23 school year has closed. If more classes become available, the Human Resources department will communicate with staff with more information.

The Chelsea Public Schools Human Resources Department announced the creation of "Charla", a free conversational Spanish class available to non-Spanish speaking CPS employees throughout the 2022-23 school year. The classes offer an opportunity for staff members to learn Spanish in a fun and creative way. The instructors are native Spanish speakers, and are in-person throughout the school year. The classes will meet twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) from 3:30-4:30 at Chelsea High School. 

The classes have reached maximum capacity for the 2022-23 school year. This page will be updated as soon as more classes become available for staff.
