Elementary School Drop-Off
-
Beginning on Monday, January 3, 2022, Chelsea Public Schools has set up a new "Drop and Go" process for parents driving their children to school at the Mary C. Burke Elementary School Complex. This will provide a much quicker and safer drop off experience for all students.
Parents should enter the vistor parking lot at the driveway closest to the playground. Vehicles will follow along the curb (shown in red below) until they reach the "Drop and Go" zone (shown in green below). At that point, vehicles can open their doors and school staff will be there to greet the students. Students should then proceed directly to their school's entrance - either the Community Entrance for Hooks and Sokolowski Elementary Schools or the playground side entrances for the Berkowitz and Kelly Elementary Schools.
No one is allowed to drop off a child anywhere other than the designated drop-off location. Additionally, cars will not be allowed to park in the visitor parking lot unless they have an appointment at a school. Cars will not be allowed to park on Crescent Avenue or drop off students along the street.
