On May 17, 2021, the Governor announced that given the low rate of outdoor transmission of COVID-19, students no longer have to wear masks when outdoors, even if the distance cannot be maintained.
Effective May 18, 2021, this guidance update applies to recess, physical education, youth sports, and outdoor learning environments. Adults must continue to wear masks outdoors if distancing cannot be maintained. At this time, adults and students must continue to wear masks indoors.
If you forget your reusable mask, a disposable mask will be provided for you to wear on the bus and within the school building.
All students and all staff shall be required to wear face-covering or masks unless eating during designated times or taking a designated mask break. Exceptions will be made only for staff who receive a medical exemption or students who receive a medical or behavioral exemption.
