Chelsea Public Schools will continue to focus on the holistic needs of our educational community.
The Remote Learning Plan, which was implemented May 15, 2020, included:
    • Opportunities for students to connect with one or more educators multiple times per week.

    • Student access to approximately half the length of a regular school day of academic content directed by educators focused on prerequisite content standards in core subjects that are critical for success in the next grade as well as reinforcing skills already taught this school year and applying and deepening those skills.

    • Integration of social and emotional learning (SEL) into activities as well as stand-alone efforts to support social-emotional health.

    • Time each day for students to engage in physical activity based on recommendations from educators.

    • Additional daily time for students to work in subjects such as the arts (dance, media arts, music, theater, and visual arts).

    • Student reminders and education on how they can help decrease the spread of the Coronavirus including frequent hand washing and the practice of social distancing.

    • Clear communication with students and families.
