Emergency Food Program

  • Chelsea Public Schools is offering free breakfast and lunch to all children and youth in Chelsea at several different locations.  Meals are available for pickup between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

    The following procedures are in place:

    • Wait quietly and respectfully in line
    • Maintain a separation of 6 feet between yourself and the next family group
    • All children in Chelsea are eligible; the children do not need to be present to collect a meal
    • Meals will be available between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm

    Las escuelas de Chelsea ofrecerá almuerzo y desayuno gratis a los jóvenes en siete lugares diferentes en Chelsea.

    Se implementarán los siguientes procedimientos:

    • Espera tranquila y respetuosamente en la fila
    • Mangenga una separación de 6 pies entre usted y el próximo grupo familiar
    • Todos los niños son eligibles; los niños no necesitan estar presentes para que las familias recojan un almuerzo o desayuno
    • Las comidas estarán disponibles entre las 11:00 a.m. y la 1:00 p.m.

     

    Emergency School Food Program Locations are / Las ubicaciones del programa de alimentos escolares de emergencia son:

    • Early Learning Center courtyard (Shurtleff Street side)
    • Mary C. Burke Complex (Community entrance)
    • Williams Middle School (Arlington Street entrance)
    • Clark Avenue Middle School front entrance
    • Voke Park (Washington Avenue)

     Beginning Monday, April 27th, meals will be served 3 days per week as follows:

    • Mondays – breakfasts and lunches for Monday and Tuesday
    • Wednesdays – breakfast and lunches for Wednesday and Thursday
    • Fridays – breakfast and lunches for Friday and Saturdays
    • No meals will be served on Tuesdays and Thursdays
