This communication from the Office of the Superintendent is to confirm that there will be school on Monday (January 13, 2025) for students at the Berkowitz, Hooks, Kelly and Sokolowski Schools. Click here to read more. 

There will be no school on Friday, January 10, at the Mary C. Burke Elementary Complex (Berkowitz, Hooks, Kelly and Sokolowski Schools) due to a water main break. The school building will not be able to open safely tomorrow. All other schools in Chelsea remain open. Click here to read more. 

When you walk into the Chelsea High School Library, you can’t help but notice a large mural filled with color, light and intrigue to the left of the circulation desk. Hanging high above the sights and sounds of CHS students hard at work, the mural titled “Our Story in the Sky” is a new addition to the library, created and painted by current senior Jasmine (Jay) Velasquez ’25. Chelsea Public Schools will have a lottery for placement in its pre-school programs for kids ages 3 and 4 at the Early Learning Center. Registration for the lottery begins on Monday, January 27, at the Parent Information Center. For more information, including how to register, click here.
