Summer EBT
-
Summer EBT is a new program that provides money for food during the summer to families with school-aged children in Massachusetts. Benefits are $120 per child for the summer. Children and families can participate in both Summer EBT and Summer Eats!
Most students do not need toapply to get Summer EBT. DTA (Department of Transitional Assistance) will pay it automatically to students who get SNAP, certain MassHealth coverage, or other benefits. If you get SNAP, Summer EBT will go on your DTA EBT card. If you don’t get SNAP, DTA will mail out Summer EBT cards in July.
For additional questions, call the Summer EBT Hotline at 855-425-8770 or visit www.mass.gov/SummerEBT.
