Dear Chelsea Public Schools Community,

Extreme cold weather will be coming to our area beginning on Friday evening. The following resources and suggestions are available to help manage the frigid conditions:

• Limit time outside and dress in layers.
• Be aware of the dangers of Frostbite & Hypothermia and take action if symptoms are noticed.
• Don't forget about your pets. Animals can suffer from hypothermia & frostbite too. Click here to review pet safety tips during the winter.
• Be a good neighbor. Report if people are sleeping on the streets during this freezing weather by contacting the Chelsea Police Department.
• Check in with elderly relatives and friends who may need additional assistance during the cold.
