Our Vision

Berkowitz Elementary School students will experience a culturally responsive learning environment that will support them to become purposeful, motivated, resourceful, knowledgeable, strategic, and goal-directed expert learners. Students develop these characteristics by participating in learning experiences and environments that are designed by teachers who see the variability of ALL learners as an asset and are committed to sharing best practices. The Berkowitz Elementary School recognizes that families and community members are a vital part of a successful school.
