    SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS: As principals, we understand that our role is to lead and guide the Hooks School so that each student and family has a positive school experience. Therefore, we agree to carry out the following responsibilities to the best of our ability:

    1. Provide a welcoming, inclusive, student-centered, joyful, safe learning environment in which students have access to the high-quality instruction that they need and deserve using methods that honor the identities that students bring.

     2. Support the implementation of the district's research-based curricula and culturally relevant teaching practices.

    3. Support the social emotional needs of your child.

    4. Provide opportunities for families to communicate regularly with us and with your child's teacher regarding their progress.

    5. Model, teach and encourage appropriate behaviors and promote school values, expectations and rules.

    6. Challenge your child to reach his/her/their full potential.

    7. Encourage families to engage in school activities, events, decision-making opportunities.

     8. Share school-wide achievement and growth data with families.

     

    SCHOOL PERSONNEL: We understand the importance of the school experience to every student and our role. Therefore, we agree to carry out the following responsibilities to the best of our ability:

    1. Create a safe, fun, engaging environment that affirms students' identities and ensures each feels a sense of belonging.

    2. Teach required standards and skills to your child using research-based curriculum and culturally relevant teaching practices.

    3. Support the academic and social emotional needs of your child.

    4. Communicate regularly with you on your child's progress.

    5. Model, teach, and encourage appropriate behavior and promote school values, expectations and rules.

    6. Challenge your child to reach his/her/their full potential.

    7. Encourage families to engage in school activities, events, decision-making opportunities.

     

    STUDENT: My education is important to me. I know my parent(s)/caregiver(s) want to help me, but I am the one who has to do the work. Therefore, I agree to do the following:

    l. Be ready to learn on time every day.

    2. Be respectful. I will treat others, myself, and my school with respect by using a safe body and kind words.

    3. Be responsible for my actions. Work to repair any harm I may have caused.

    4. Always give my best effort on all my school assignments and ask for help when I need it.

    5. Cooperate with others. Follow the directions of my principals, teachers, and other adults.

    6. Take notices and all communications home to my parent(s)/caregiver(s).

    7. Work with others to keep my classroom and school neat, clean and a fun place to learn!

     

    PARENT/CAREGIVER: I understand that my participation in my child's education will help his/her/their achievement and attitude. Therefore, I agree to carry out the following responsibilities to the best of my ability:

    l. Make sure my child gets enough sleep each night and arrives at school on time (7:55 a.m.).

     2. Encourage my child to work to his/her/their full potential.

    3. Support the school values, expectations and rules.

    4. Go over my child's school assignments.

    5. Spend at least 15-20 minutes each day reading with or to my child according to the recommendations of my child's teacher.

    6. Be involved in school activities and events, attend meetings and conferences, and stay in communication with my child's teachers and school administration.

    PACTO DE PARTICIPACIÓN ENTRE EL BOGAR Y LA ESCUELA 2023-2024

     

    Por favor firme este PACTO DE PARTICIPACION ENTRE EL HOGAR Y LA ESCUELA y pídale a su hijo/a que se lo devuelva a su maestro/a.

     

    ADMINISTRADORES ESCOLARES: Como directoras, entendemos que nuestro papel es liderar y guiar a la Escuela Hooks para que cada estudiante y familia tenga una experiencia escolar positiva. Por lo canto, aceptamos llevar a cabo las siguientes responsabilidades lo mejor que podamos:

    1. Proporcionar un ambiente de aprendizaje acogedor, inclusivo, centrado en el estudiante, alegre y seguro en el que los estudiantes tengan acceso a la instrucción de alta calidad que necesitan y merecen utilizando métodos que honren las identidades que traen los estudiantes.

     2. Apoyar la implementación de! plan de estudios basado en la investigación exigida por el distrito y las prácticas de enseñanza culturalmente relevantes.

    3. Apoyar las necesidades sociales y emocionales de su hijo/a.

    4. Proporcionar oportunidades para que las familias se comuniquen regularmente con nosotros y con el maestro/a de su hijo/a con respecto a su progreso.

    5. Modelar, enseñar y fomentar el apropiado comportamiento y promover los valores, expectativas y

    reglas escolares.

    6. Desafiar a su hijo/a a alcanzar su máximo potencial.

    7. Animar a las familias a participar en actividades escolares, eventos, oportunidades de toma de decisiones.  

    PERSONAL ESCOLAR: Entendemos la importancia de la experiencia escolar para cada estudiante y nuestro papel. Por lo tanto, aceptamos llevar a cabo las siguientes responsabilidades lo mejor que podamos:

    1. Crear un entorno seguro, divertido y atractivo que afirme las identidades de los estudiantes y garantice que cada uno tenga un sentido de pertenencia.

    2. Enseñar los estándares y las habilidades requeridas a su hijo/a utilizando un currículo basado en investigaciones y prácticas de enseñanza culturalmente relevantes.

    3. Apoyar las necesidades académicas y socioemocionales de su hijo/a.

    4. Comunicarme regularmente con usted sobre el progreso de su hijo/a.

    5. Modelar, enseñar y fomentar el apropiado comportamiento y promover los valores, expectativas y reglas escolares.

    6. Desafiar a su hijo/a a alcanzar su máximo potencial.

    7. Animar a las familias a participar en actividades escolares, eventos, oportunidades de toma de decisiones.

     

    ESTUDIANTE: Sé que mi educación es importante para mí. Sé que mis padres/cuidadores quieren ayudarme, pero soy yo quien tiene que hacer el trabajo. Por lo canto, acepto hacer lo siguiente:

    1. Estaré preparado/a para aprender.

    2. Sea respetuoso/a. Voy a tratar a los demás, a mí mismo y a mi escuela con respeto usando un cuerpo seguro y palabras amables.

    3. Seré responsable de mis acciones. Trabajar para reparar cualquier daño que pueda haber causado.

    4, Siempre daré mi mejor esfuerzo en codas mis tareas escolares y pediré ayuda cuando la necesite.

    5. Cooperaré con otros. Seguiré las instrucciones de mis directores, maestros/as y otros adultos.

    6, Llevaré los avisos y todas las comunicaciones a casa a mis padres/cuidadores.

    7. ¡Trabajaré con otros para mantener mi salón de clases y mi escuela ordenados, limpios y un lugar divertido para aprender!

     

    PADRE/CUIDADOR: Entiendo que mi participación en la educación de mi hijo/a ayudara a su logro y

    actitud. Por lo canto, acepto llevar a cabo las siguientes responsabilidades lo mejor que pueda:

    1. Asegurarme de que mi hijo/a duerma lo suficiente cada noche y llegue a la escuela a tiempo. (7:55 a.m.)

    2. Animar a mi hijo/a a trabajar a su máximo potencial.

    3. Apoyar los valores, expectativas y reglas de la escuela.

    4. Revisar las tareas escolares de mi hijo/a.

    5. Pasar al menos 15-20 minutos cada día leyendo con mi hijo/a de acuerdo con las recomendaciones del maestro/a de mi hijo/a.

    6. lnvolucrarme en actividades y eventos escolares, asistir a reuniones y conferencias, mantenerme en comunicación con los maestros/as de mi hijo/a y la administración escolar.
