Graduation Central: Class of 2026 Ceremony

 

CHS, COA and CVLA Students and Families: 

The following page includes details and information about the upcoming Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2026 at Chelsea Public Schools.  We are so proud of our graduates from Chelsea High School, Chelsea Opportunity Academy and Chelsea Virtual Learning Academy. 

The ceremony will be outside on the CHS football field on Friday, June 12th. It will begin at 6:00pm.

Graduates should arrive at Chelsea High School by 4:30pm for announcements and to get organized for the ceremony. Families will be allowed onto the field starting at 4:30pm and should arrive by 6:00pm to ensure you see the entire ceremony.

For parking, families can park in the two parking lots under the overpass near the school (next to Carter Park and the smaller parking lot across the street). You will then be directed to the football field through the baseball field. Families will not be allowed in the building after the end of the school day. 

Please remain in your seats throughout the ceremony unless you need to use the restrooms, which will be set up outside. 

Students will be proceeding back into the building after the ceremony. We will ask families to remain seated until all graduates are back inside. At that point, families will be directed to the baseball field to wait for your graduate.

Please note the following reminders:

• Please do not bring balloons or umbrellas to the ceremony.
• There are no tickets for Graduation. Entry is free and all are welcome.
• The ceremony will be livestreamed on the Chelsea Public Schools YouTube Channel and Facebook Page.
