Rescheduled Public Hearing & Public Comment Information

The Chelsea Public Schools FY27 Budget Public Hearing has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 17, at 6:30 p.m.
The hearing will be held in the Chelsea High School Auditorium to accommodate the anticipated level of public interest. This location will allow for increased seating capacity, appropriate sound quality, and designated overflow space where attendees will be able to view the meeting live. Attendees will be asked to enter CHS via the entrance on Everett Avenue.
To help organize public participation, we have created a flyer that includes a QR code for individuals to sign up for public comment in advance. Those interested in public comment will have until Monday, March 16, at 6:30pm to sign up. Written testimony may also be submitted to cpsschoolcommittee@chelseaschools.com.
Additionally, the capacity for the CHS Auditorium is 350 people. Additional attendees will be able watch the meeting in the overflow space. The meeting will be broadcast live on the Chelsea Community Cable Facebook Page and YouTube Channel.
This process is intended to provide a structured and equitable opportunity for community members to have their voices heard during the hearing.
