Kati Cabral is a proud educator, former middle school teacher, and graduated with her Masters in Education Policy from Boston University in May 2026. She serves as an At-Large Member of the Chelsea School Committee, where she is dedicated to ensuring that every student is known by their name, strength, and story. Kati’s journey in education policy began as a senior at Chelsea High School, when she was nominated by her principal to serve as the Student Representative on the School Committee. That experience sparked her commitment to return to the community that invested in her. After college, she taught middle school science in Chelsea and now works to diversify and strengthen the educator workforce in Lynn and Mattapan. Kati is an alumna of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Internship Program, the School Board Partners (SBP) Fellowship, the Latinos for Education Fellowship, and Bates College.
