Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten at Chelsea Public Schools is located at the John Silber Early Learning Center and runs Monday to Friday from 8:13am to 2:20pm.
Registration Timeline
April/May: Families may register for Kindergarten by appointment at the Parent Information Center.

**Information about signing up for the Kindergarten After School Program Lottery is provided during Kindergarten Registration appointments.
2025-26 Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registrations for the 2025-26 school year will take place at the Parent Information Center by appointment only:
- To schedule an appointment, parents/guardians must come to the Parent Information Center with their identification and their child’s birth certificate between Monday, April 7 and Thursday, April 17, 2025.
Early Kindergarten registrations for the 2025-26 school year will take place at the Parent Information Center from Tuesday, April 22 – Friday, May 16 by appointment only.
The Parent Information Center is open from 8:00am-4:00pm.
It is not necessary to register your child if your child currently attends the John Silber Early Learning Center for pre-kindergarten. If your child is not currently enrolled, then the following apply:
- Child must be a resident of the City of Chelsea.
- Child must be 5 years old by August 31, 2025.
