Chelsea Public Schools - Employee Policies & Procedures

Employee Policies & Procedures

Essential district policies, compliance requirements, and procedural guidelines for all employees

All Chelsea Public Schools employees are required to review and acknowledge these policies and procedures. These documents outline important guidelines, legal requirements, and district expectations that govern our workplace. Please review each section carefully and contact Human Resources if you have any questions.

I. Ethics Law

All employees must receive and acknowledge receipt of the Conflict of Interest Summary and complete the Online Ethics Training Course. Both the signed acknowledgment from the Summary and certificate of completion from the Training Course must be returned to the CPS Human Resources Office.

II. Computer and Internet Acceptable Use Policy

III. General District Policies

Social Media Policy Note: Educators who would like to use social media applications (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, blogs) with students/classes must attend the social media training, then complete and sign the last page of the social media policy. This step involves securing permission from the building Principal overseeing the educator.
