At Chelsea High School we genuinely strive to provide deep and authentic learning opportunities for all students. As you will see from the course catalog, Chelsea High School offers a variety of curricular opportunities. Chelsea High School has a vibrant Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement Program, designed to challenge and prepare you for the rigor of college-level coursework.
Students can receive college credit through successful completion of Bunker Hill Community College Dual Enrollment Courses. Our two Pathways Programs – Health and Life Sciences and Law and Public Policy – provide senior students the opportunity to concentrate their studies in potential career pathways through interdisciplinary coursework and internships.
In addition, CHS offers a wide range of elective courses in the Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and the Business and Technology fields of study. In many cases, you will see how our curriculum connects directly to our many co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and program offerings.
Our hope is to provide every student with a well-rounded educational experience, where students can explore and develop areas of interest. Scheduling for the 2016-17 school year begins in April 2016 and continues through the end of the school year. As you move through the scheduling process, I urge you to challenge yourself, while seeking the advice of parents, teachers, and peers.
