Chelsea Public Schools - Bridge to Success

Chelsea High School Performing Arts Department Presents: “Augusta and Noble”

Chelsea High School will be staging Augusta and Noble by Carlos Murrilo, directed by Kariana Santos, on Nov 16, 17, and 18th at 7:00 PM.

The infamous American Dream that many, if not all immigrants look for is a story far too familiar for not only our students but our community. Carlos Murrilo’s Augusta and Noble takes us on an adventure with Gabi Castillo, a daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico. As she takes on a project given to her by one of her teachers, the very important story of discovering her family history and heritage comes to life. Our students have worked tirelessly to bring the hopes and sacrifices of many immigrants to life right here at our very own stage and hope they know they are not alone.
