CHS Competing Ensembles

Chelsea High School competing ensembles did very well at competition this past Friday!

The Percussion Ensemble, in its first competition, came in 1st place with a rating of Excellent. The Concert Band came in 3rd place with a rating of Good. The Cantare came in 2nd place with a rating of Excellent. In addition, Cristina Salazar, who is an alto, received the Outstanding Vocalist award for her solo for the song "Gravedigger."

These award winning ensembles will also be performing next week at Arts Night Out.

Because the City of Chelsea will be shutting off the water in the neighborhood of the Early Learning Center from 8a.m. - 4p.m. on Thursday, August 17, both the ELC building and the Parent Information Center will be closed on Thursday August 17, 2017. Both offices are scheduled to re-open on Friday August 18, 2017 with normal business hours.
