Parents and Guardians, do you want your children to practice their math skills in a fun way even when they aren't in school?

Middle School December Break Math Activities

Students, do you want to work on an exciting math project that involves creating a fake Instagram account, writing children’s book, or watching a video?

Then print out your grade’s assignment and start working and having fun.

As an alternative you can spend 3 hours practicing IXL online and your teacher will check your work. Here are the IXL skills to practice for each grade level:

  • 5th grade: Skills A1 and A2 - Place Value
    • Skills L6 and L11 - Fractions
  • 6th grade: Skills R7 and R9 - Unit Rate
    • Skills S4 and S5 - Percents
  • 7th grade: Skills K7 and K8 - Proportional Relationships
    • Skills L5 and L6 - Percents
  • 8th grade: Skills Z7 and Z8 - Linear Functions
    • Skills P2 and P5 - Transformations

Important Closure Notice!
Because the City of Chelsea will be shutting off the water in the neighborhood of the Early Learning Center from 8a.m. - 4p.m. on Thursday, August 17, both the ELC building and the Parent Information Center will be closed on Thursday August 17, 2017. Both offices are scheduled to re-open on Friday August 18, 2017 with normal business hours.
