Science in the Park

Science in the Park is an opportunity from the Lewis Latimer Society & Museum for the whole family, children, and the general public to learn more about science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Science in the Park is an annual event organizations get together in the community to turn a park into a “giant laboratory”. This is an opportunity for Pre­K to 12 graders to increase their knowledge and enjoyment about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) while having fun at the park.

This is a FREE event!

  • Boston Civil Engineers­ Think Fest!
  • Eastern Salt Company
  • Suffolk County Mosquito Control Board
  • Lewis Latimer Society & Museum­ Lab Experiments
  • The Gold Mine­ Drones
  • Chelsea Senior Center­ Trees, Please!
  • Bunker Hill Community College
  • MWRA­ Water Testing

Attendance Appeal Process
The attendance appeal process for the third quarter will begin on 3/20/2019 and end on 3/29/2019. Please contact Mr. Carangelo at 617-466-5043 to schedule an appointment in English. Please contact Mr. Velez at 617-466-5071 to schedule an appointment in Spanish. This is in compliance with our school handbook and all guidelines will apply.
