Program Classes


    English Classes

    ESOL Family Literacy: We offer classes for parents and caregivers who want to improve their reading and writing and who want to learn how to help their children learn to read and write.

    ESOL Level 1, 2, and 3: These classes are for individuals who want to improve their English language and literacy. Three levels of ESOL are offered.

    High School Equivalency for Youth: These classes are for youth who live in Chelsea (ages 16-22) to prepare them to take the high school equivalency exam in English.

    Distance Learning: This is for individuals who are interested in taking English classes online.

    Supplemental Classes: Learners enrolled in ILP classes have the option to attend conversation, writing, and computer classes.


    Spanish Classes

    Adult Basic Education: These classes provide adults and youth (ages 16-22) with the literacy skills needed to enter high school equivalency classes.

    High School Equivalency for Youth and Adult: These classes prepare adults to take the high school equivalency exams (HiSET & GED) in Spanish.


    Classes for Children

    Preschool and school-aged children of participating families attend a literacy-based classroom during the time their parents are in class.
