  • 7:25AM: First Bell
  • 7:35AM: Late Bell
  • 1:40PM: Departure (M,W,Th,F) Grade 8
  • 4:15PM: Departure (M,W,Th,F) Grades 5-7
  • 1:40PM Departure (Tuesdays only) Grades 5-8
  • 11:30AM: Departure on Early Release Days Grades 5-8

Our vision is that all students of the Joseph A. Browne School will move on from eighth grade with the academic skills and habits of mind they need to be successful in high school, college and in their careers.

Our Academic Focus

A coordinated, school-wide effort to have all Joseph A. Browne Middle School students across all content areas demonstrate measurable growth in understanding data and evidence to analyze and draw conclusions through teaching for understanding and student practice as measured by student work, ANET data, and teacher assessments.
