CHS Library highlights sports
Most sports fiction in our collection focuses on football, baseball, and basketball. Additionally, we have great nonfiction highlighting lots of other sports, including soccer, skateboarding, car racing, and martial arts.
One book I'd like to recommend for anyone who wants to understand the science behind sports, is Why a Curveball Curves, published by Popular Mechanics... lots of great photos and charts, covering many competitive sports. Read it to discover the answers to such questions as: how did Beckham "bend it," and what is the anatomy of a "slam dunk" in basketball.
Come check out the Sports collection in the library this month.

Join us as the Memorial Day Parade commences May 28th at 8:15AM at the Welsh & Sons Memorial Funeral Home - 718 Broadway. Ceremony will follow at Chelsea City Hall at 9:00AM. Together we can commemorate our Servicemen and Servicewomen for their contributions to our Great Nation.
