Please join us! We welcome all members of the community to attend our annual Open House and experience the Chelsea REACH Program, an example of innovative, high-impact programming available to Chelsea youth.
Chelsea REACH (Reach, Explore, ACHieve) operates Monday through Thursday from 2:30 - 6:00 p.m. during the school year, and Monday through Thursday from 1:00-5:00 p.m. during the summer. The program, which enrolls 120 Chelsea Public School students annually, grew out of a community-based process which engaged diverse stakeholders to design a program that would be focused on academic success, hold high expectations for youth, provide caring, ongoing adult support for program participants, be culturally competent, promote community, participation and leadership, expand youth horizons, and be outcome-oriented.
Now in its fifth year, Chelsea REACH has graduated its first full cohort of students each of which began the program with significant risk factors for dropping out of school and all of which are now successful 11th graders. These REACH graduates continue to be supported by the REACH Program as they evaluate options for college and career and plan for their future success.

Join us as the Memorial Day Parade commences May 28th at 8:15AM at the Welsh & Sons Memorial Funeral Home - 718 Broadway. Ceremony will follow at Chelsea City Hall at 9:00AM. Together we can commemorate our Servicemen and Servicewomen for their contributions to our Great Nation.
