Back-To-School Celebration
It was the first community event of the school year and it was an overwhelming success. Organizers estimate over 2,000 participants enjoyed the fun, games, and food. The event was held at the Williams Building courtyard and gymnasium.
The annual event is an opportunity for students and families to meet teachers, principals, and community based organizations; talk with members of Chelsea's police and fire departments, and receive free school supplies. This year the event was sponsored in part by McDonald's, Citizen's Bank Foundation, Jordan Boys and Girls Club, Kayem, Coca-Cola, and Rotary.
The annual Back-To-School Celebration represents the City of Chelsea's commitment to education and the city's commitment to the success of every student.

Join us as the Memorial Day Parade commences May 28th at 8:15AM at the Welsh & Sons Memorial Funeral Home - 718 Broadway. Ceremony will follow at Chelsea City Hall at 9:00AM. Together we can commemorate our Servicemen and Servicewomen for their contributions to our Great Nation.
