Trip to Quebec City

Chelsea Public Schools - Trip to Québec!
The purpose of this trip is to give the students a chance to learn more about their Canadian neighbors of French heritage, and to have an opportunity to practice the French they are learning in school.
The trip will take place between April 13 and 15, 2012. The itinerary includes a dinner in a fine French restaurant, a 17th century feast at a rustic French Canadian sugar shack, an evening of Native American dances and legends at The Village Huron, and a visit to a large shopping mall which houses an indoor amusement park. Also included are stops at the Ste.-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica, a walk across the suspended bridge above the beautiful Montmorency Falls, and guided tours to the historic walled city of Québec. Teams of students will compete in a fact-finding mission and a grocery scavenger hunt.
The cost of the trip includes round-trip transportation via motor coach, two nights lodging in a deluxe hotel, tour admissions, two breakfasts and two dinners. Spaces wll be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The tour is limited to 44 participants, who must be past or present French students.
Interested students should contact or in the Foreign Language department.
