CHS students are expected to read at least two books during the summer and to write essays in response. Essays are due no later than August 28 (the third day of school) and will be the first grade given in the new school year. Get all the details!

Summer School 2010
Chelsea Public Schools Expected Summer Program
Planned Course Offerings:
Note: these are subject to change.
- English (all levels)
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Geometry
- Algebra 1 and 2
- World History
- U.S. History 1 and 2
- Elective classes.
The Summer School Program is for Grades 9-12 and takes place at Chelsea High School.
Registration for summer school will be June 21-23 at Chelsea High School from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Classes are $30.00 per course.
Important Information:
Summer school will run from June 30 - July 28. Classes will be 2.5 hours long and we will complete 40 hours for each class. Hours for students taking 2 classes will be 8:00-1:00.
Program Policies
The school district reserves the right to dismiss any student from the program for the following reasons.
- 3 or more absences (4 tardies to class = an absence)
- discipline issues
